The PowerScan family was developed for use in the harshest industrial environments.

The series offers flexible model options including a mobile and a wired (PD9531) variant. For the mobile models, users can choose between Bluetooth (PBT9501) or proprietary radio (PM9501) based on Datalogic's STAR Cordless System.

With their ergonomic shape and intuitive aiming system, they guarantee the highest first reading rates and reduce unnatural wrist movements. The quiet, white lighting is more pleasant for the human eye than red light and therefore also makes capture processes easier on scan-intensive work days.

3 green LEDs (3GL) ensure that the reading confirmation is always visible: the patented “Green Spot” confirms successful reading directly on the code and two LEDs on the device support visibility from all angles. All models offer multi-interface options: RS-232, Keyboard Wedge, USB and optional Ethernet for standard or industrial use.

The liquid lens technology used improves the depth of field and thus captures both standard codes and wide and high-resolution codes. Using Motionix motion sensor technology, the scanners record users' natural movements and can automatically switch to the desired scanning mode (hand held or presentation scanning).
