This is a USB-C to VGA (DP Altmode) Adapter with a USB-C charging port. The USB-C female port can charge the host computer and supply power for the adapter at the same time. The VGA port allows you to connect to a monitor with a VGA connection in order for you to watch videos or slideshows on a big screen.
