The NETGEAR M4300 Stackable Switch Series delivers cost-effective L2/L3/L4 and IPv4/IPv6 services to the edge and core of small and medium-sized businesses with unmatched ease of use: 10 Gigabit models Stack seamlessly with 1 Gigabit models within the series, enabling line-rate spine-and-leaf stacking topologies. Non-Stop Forwarding (NSF) virtual chassis architectures provide advanced high availability (HA) with hitless failover in the stack. Two redundant power modules on the full-width models contribute to business continuity management. The Layer 3 feature set includes static, dynamic, and policy-based routing by default.The NETGEAR M4300 switch series is perfect for wireless access, unified communications and IP video. It is also future-proof as it supports Software-defined Network (SDN) and OpenFlow 1.3 in your network.

- The M4300 is flexible for mixed stacking with 10 Gigabit and 1 Gigabit models, using any type of 10G ports (RJ45, SFP+, DAC cable). High availability is another key differentiator for stackable solutions: In the event of a master switch failure, Non Stop Forwarding and Hitless Failover ensure that the standby switch takes over while the forwarding layer forwards traffic to the operational stack members - without interruption of service.
