APC Switched Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) enable comprehensive system power control and active monitoring.The remote controlled outputs enable switching on/off for reboot processes and prevent unauthorized use of individual outputs. Adjustable delays allow a user-definable sequence for turning connected systems on and off. In addition, overloading of electrical circuits can be achieved by selectively switching off consumers and extending the operating time of critical systems by prioritizing load distribution. Current measurements enable real-time remote monitoring of connected loads. Switched Rack PDUs allow real-time power monitoring and feature a temperature/humidity sensor port and lockable IEC outputs. User-definable alarms warn of potential circuit overload before critical IT system failures occur. Access, configuration and control of Switched Rack PDUs is possible via secure web, SNMP or Telnet interfaces. These are complemented by APC Centralized Management platforms using InfraStruxure Central, Capacity Manager and Change Manager.
